The Stanley Kramer Award
Established by Karen Sharpe-Kramer at the Producer's Guild of America Awards in 2001, the year of Stanley Kramer's passing. It is named after the producer/director, given to films or individuals that "illuminate provocative social issues.) Sean Penn, Jane Fonda, and Rita Moreno (each an Oscar winner) are the only individuals "Artivists" to receive the prestigious honor.
